On Sept. 11, 2023, Shanna Sascha (21) posted a video on TikTok in which she performed the “hook” of Habits (Stay High) by Tove Lo in one breath. The video went viral within a day, garnering more than 4.5 million views. Due to the enthusiastic response from her followers, who asked for a full cover version, she decided to release the song. This piano ballad cover was produced by Wouter Hardy, the producer and co-writer of Arcade by Duncan Laurence. She is currently working on her EP of self-written songs and hopes to release her first single in 2025.
