Amina (2001) is a Utrecht-based songwriter and singer who distinguishes herself with vulnerable and energetic nederpop. In her Dutch-language work, she seeks the balance between strength and sensitivity, giving her generation a recognizable voice. Her lyrics are candid, evocative and rooted in personal experiences, always driven by her intuition and the motto: “sure in the uncertain.”
Amina studied at the conservatory in Rotterdam, played as supporting act for Maan and Meau, among others, and released her first EP in 2024, followed by a club tour of the Netherlands and Belgium. Within her writing, the focus is on themes of love, friendship, performance pressure and self-discovery – always with an eye for detail and emotion.
Amina not only writes for her own project, but also collaborates with other artists and producers.
